The stars of the Avengers films may not actually have superpowers, but a lot of them do have Twitter accounts.

Author Suleikha Snyder noticed Monday that several of the Avengers have spoken out against Trump on Twitter to the delight of many franchise fans.

"The Avengers are assembling," Snyder wrote, highlighting tweets from Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury, who is admittedly not an actual Avenger).

The internet appeared very enthused — particularly about Jackson's characteristically badass commentary.

So while we'll never know how the true Avengers would have voted in this election, it seems pretty clear where the actors who play them stand. Does that matter? Who knows? But we'll take it, we guess.

And just in case anyone is wondering about Black Widow, Iron Man and Thor: Scarlett Johannson does not have a Twitter account, Robert Downey, Jr.'s last tweet was about a pumpkin and Chris Hemsworth has been busy standing with Standing Rock.
