The Avengers-Iron Man Mark VII review

The Avengers-Iron Man Mark VII is a short but enjoyable interactive comic book that features tools like background music and narration. The poor display format and touchy controls make for a diminished experience overall, but a fun story is still present once you get over the negative aspects of this program.

Pros

Entertaining tools: The Avengers-Iron Man Mark VII provides you with controllable background music and a narration feature in addition to the comic book itself. Throughout the story, you are also given the opportunity to find hidden objects that can be used to unlock additional content, adding more engaging elements to this application.

Beautiful illustration: The amount of detail in this program's images is superb and compares to the quality of physical comic books. Illustrations also feature interactive elements that when clicked, cause additional sounds and animations, such as gunfire, to appear onscreen.

Cons

Underperforming controls: Navigating this program only consists of swiping left to right or using the drop-down menu to jump directly to a new page. Both options are slow to respond and can be finicky, often resulting in the wrong page loading.

Poor formatting: The Avengers-Iron Man Mark VII is limited to a 4:3 format that is not only unattractive, but it severely impacts your ability to see text and images clearly. We often had to hold our test device very close to our face to see the presented content.

Bottom Line

If you enjoy comic books, then The Avengers-Iron Man Mark VII may be an acceptable application for you. It does not have much use once you finish the story, but the animations and design are still fun to see. There are better applications available for those looking for more serious and longer comics; and overall, The Avengers-Iron Man Mark VII is mediocre at best.
