Awesome Art Picks: Captain America, Spider-Woman, Boba Fett, and More

Each week we search for and gather up the coolest comic book art you won’t see in actual comics. The reason you won’t is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their websites, blogs, and Tumblrs. Some artists even arrange commissions through theirs sites so be sure to check them out.

Sara Pichelli posted some new commissions on her Tumblr this week.

Sean Murphy posted some more Kickstarter commissions on his Twitter page.

Francesco Francavilla posted a Batman and Ghost Rider sketch on his Tumblr. He put them for sale HERE so jump over there to see if they’ve been sold yet.

Not really sure why but Mike McKone posted a sketch of M.O.D.O.K. on his Twitter page. When it comes to M.O.D.O.K., a reason isn’t necessary.

Skottie Young posted a Marceline, Death and He-Man sketch on his Tumblr. Head over to his store to see if they’re still for sale.

Philip Tan posted some more sketches on his Facebook page.

Marcio Takara posted some more commissions on his Tumblr (including a better look at the Wonder Woman sketch we saw last week).

Greg Smallwood posted a couple new sketches on his Twitter page.

Brett Booth posted a Firestorm sketch on his Twitter page last week.

Patrick Zircher posted a couple sketches on his Twitter page.

Mike Henderson posted more art on his Instagram. Check out what he has for sale in his online store.

Joel Gomez posted some new sketches on his Tumblr.

Denis Medri posted a sketch of E.T. on his Deviant Art page.

Kris Anka is the man of the hour this week. Seems pretty much everyone loved his Spider-Woman redesign. Here's some other versions he posted on his Tumblr.

Ron Salas was definitely digging the new Spider-Woman costume and posted his version of it on his Tumblr.

Norm Rapmund posted commissions from Phoenix Fan Fest on his Twitter page and Instagram.

Chris Giarrusso posted more sketch cards on his website. They're for sale so check which are still available. He also has a G-Man "Super-Journal" book that's available for pre-order.

Todd Nauck posted more post-it sketches on his Tumblr. Looks like he needs to be put on a Guardians of the Galaxy book.

That's it for this week. Hopefully we'll see new sketches during this coming holiday week. If not, Happy early New Year.
