    Backstreet Boy Nick Carter Engaged To Girlfriend

    Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is getting hitched.

    The pop star popped the question to his girlfriend, Lauren Kitt, and it appears she said yes.

    "Big question... great answer," he Tweeted, linking to an Instagram photo of the happy couple. (Click HERE to see the photo.)

    Nick told People he had wanted to propose for a while before finally asking his girlfriend to become his missus.

    "I had the ring in my pocket for two weeks," he told the mag. "I was like, 'I don't want it anymore!' It was driving me insane. I just wanted to get it out of my hands and on to hers."

    Once he finally asked Lauren, 29 -- a fitness expert and actress -- for her hand in marriage, he admitted he froze.

    "She said, 'Yes,' and I'm, like, 'I don't know what to do," the pop star told the mag. "She said, 'You're supposed to put it on my finger.' So I did. I was in shock."
