Barricade situation in Prince George’s County resolved

UPDATE 5/4/24: PGPD said a man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

PGPD said it has secured the residence.

Police said the shelter-in-place has been lifted and all roads are now open.

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said it’s at the scene of a barricade situation.

Police said that at about 10:15 a.m., a shooting took place at a home in the 2100 block of Beechwood Road.

Officers said a man was believed to be inside a single-family house.
