    All New Web-Based Shipping Application AgileShip SE Offers Advanced Transportation Management Capabilities for Small Businesses

    For the first time ever, small businesses are able to access transportation management capabilities once reserved only for large enterprises. AgileShip SE, a new web-based transportation management system (TMS), offers a suite of mail, parcel and freight services that have previously been cost prohibitive for small to medium enterprises (SME).


         AgileShip SE supports UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, LTL rating, brokerage, regional carriers, and more. The app automatically syncs with QuickBooks by reading orders and writing back shipping charges. It validates addresses and residential status, and automates customs documentation. Overall, shippers can save 20% or more in transportation spend by accessing discounted rates, private insurance and avoiding unexpected surcharges and accessorial fees.


         One of the most unique features is a carrier payment service offered by Pitney Bowes Global Financial Service. Rather than manually reconcile multiple carrier bills on a weekly basis, shippers can simplify reconciliation and improve cash flow by paying one monthly bill.

         AgileShip SE for QuickBooks is offered in two editions: the Basic edition, which features QuickBooks integration, multi-carrier processing, address validation, US customs forms, and shipment tracking, and the Pro edition, which offers the Basic features as well as rate-shopping, exclusive discounted freight rates, invoice auditing, and Streamline Payment. The app is now available on the Intuit App Center and comes with a 30-day free trial, with pricing at $29.95 and $49.95 for the Basic and Pro editions, respectively.
