    In 2011, the IRS released ten new Audit Techniques Guides (ATG) that give auditors more information about the tax and accounting techniques of specific industries. Four of those guides are for industries common to the San Francisco Bay Area. Architects and landscape architects, attorneys, business consultants and the wine industry had new ATGs released on IRS.gov last year.
