Bearded Swedish Hipster Club Visited By Police After Being Mistaken For ISIS

A group of bearded hipsters waving a flag around were paid a visit by police after members of the public mistook them for ISIS terrorists.

The Bearded Villains, a group devoted to men with amazing beards, were taking part in a photoshoot at the Brahehus Castle ruin in Sweden.

However, the length of their beards and a black flag being waved around made one person think they were up to no good.

One of the beardy men, Andreas Fransson, wrote on Facebook: In the middle of the shoot, two cops show up, telling us they got a call from someone saying that they drove past and saw about 30 terrorists waving a ISIS flag.”

Fortunately, the police realised straight away that there was not a meeting of jihadists taking place.

Andreas added: “We had a good laugh with the cops, who had to respond to the call, but quickly saw that we weren’t terrorists, out in the middle of nowhere, dressed in formal wear, hugging and laughing.”

Bearded Villains describe themselves as “a brotherhood of elite bearded men from all over the world”.

Established in 2014, they say their mission statement is to “unite bearded men of all cultures, races and creed in a brotherhood devoted to loyalty, honour and respect toward all people”.

Pretty much as far from ISIS as they can get, then.
