Beer vendors cruising through the Olympic Park say sales dip when the skies turn cloudy but pick up markedly when the sun comes out.

Thirsty fans flock to the convenient vendors, who walk all over the park carrying insulated backpacks filed with dozens of plastic beer bottles. On Tuesday, sales were mostly slow as clouds hung over the park much of the day.
