Ben Affleck Joins 'The Company Men' At NYC Premiere (December 8, 2010) -- Getty Images

Ben Affleck once played Marvel's Daredevil, but the actor/director could be switching to a new comic book universe.

According to Variety, Ben is being considered as a possible director for the upcoming "Justice League" movie which is expected to include DC Comics' characters Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and The Flash.

Variety also reported that Ben is looking to direct projects that he will possibly star in, as he did in "The Town" and the upcoming "Argo."

However, Deadline reported that Ben's reps said he will not take on the project.

"Justice League" could hit theaters in summer 2015, the same time Joss Whedon's "Avengers" sequel is slated to blast into theaters.
