Best Colleges 2014 Rankings Coming Soon
The latest rankings and data for National Universities, National Liberal Arts Colleges, Regional Universities, Regional Colleges and more that make up the 2014 edition of the U.S. News Best Colleges rankings will be live on usnews.com on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
The most complete version of the exclusive new rankings, data, tables and lists - including extensive statistical profiles for each school and a search tool to enable prospective students and parents to find the college that best fits their needs - will be available on the website.
This includes popular rankings such as A-plus Schools for B Students, options for students who want to go to a good college but don't have straight-A grades, and Best Value Schools, which shows the schools that are the best values for those getting need-based financial aid.
More important details about the new edition of the Best Colleges rankings will be shared on this blog the week prior to the online release.
This year's rankings will also be published in the "Best Colleges 2014" guidebook, which will start shipping on Sept. 9 and be available on newsstands Sept. 24.

Beyond the main rankings, U.S. News will also publish Web-only rankings, including one of colleges by high school counselors from across the U.S. and one that shows which schools have the greatest commitment to undergraduate teaching, among others.
Colleges making innovative improvements will appear in the very popular Up-and-Coming Schools rankings for the sixth year in a row. Our seventh annual ranking of Historically Black Colleges and Universities and new rankings of top undergraduate business programs and top undergraduate engineering programs will also appear online.
The most complete methodologies will be on our website on Sept. 10. In addition, we'll have updated lists and articles to help you navigate the college application process. Some of these include:
