Biggest leak yet: The Galaxy S6 Edge is going to look so much better than you thought

If you’re not excited for the Galaxy S6 Edge right now, we don’t blame you. After all, Samsung’s first attempt at making a smartphone with a wraparound display, the Galaxy Note Edge, was nothing at all to write home about. However, it’s looking like the Note Edge was a precursor to much better things, as newly leaked pictures of the upcoming Galaxy S6 Edge show.

FROM EARLIER: Major leak from Sprint gives us our clearest look yet at the Galaxy S6

Nowhereelse.fr draws our attention to some new leaked photos of the S6 Edge posted over at CNET Korea. As you can see below, the device doesn’t look nearly as awkward and unbalanced as the Note Edge did. It helps, of course, that there are curved displays that wrap around both sides of the new device instead of just one.

Of course, the biggest question about the S6 Edge is whether its innovative design will actually have a point besides looking different. The Note Edge’s side panel display seemed very gimmicky to us, though we have to assume that Samsung is going to be bringing something fresh to the table with this new model.

We’ll find out for sure during Samsung’s by Galaxy S6 event this Sunday, which we’ll be covering live.
