In a move that surely induced cringes in teens and twenty-somethings the world over, Bill de Blasio tweeted a profoundly corny dad joke about Facebook last night.

The missive was deployed at 8:58 p.m. and was both topical and punny. Referring to both Facebook's new offices and its recent acquisition of WhatsApp, the mayor said:
