Top of the class: Bitdefender Antivirus Plus consistently lands in the top rank of security software in independent lab tests. In recent real-world protection tests by AV-Comparatives, Antivirus Plus blocked 99.8 percent of malware. Bitdefender Antivirus also ranked as one of the suites that least impacted system performance.
Optimization and extras: In addition to virus protection, Antivirus Plus 2015 features a standard PC optimization kit with a Registry cleaner, a disk defragmenter, and various cleanup tools. Bitdefender Wallet acts as a secure password manager for sensitive payment data used in online transactions. Safepay offers a third-party browser for added security during online shopping.

Cons
Initial scan is a slog: Antivirus Plus does its initial scan during installation. Theoretically this makes sense, but in practice, installing in an already troubled system (laced with malware) means that the process of downloading, scanning, and installing gets massively bogged down. We'd much prefer to opt out of this initial scan when doing a total PC cleanup.
Cards not accepted here: Bitdefender Wallet's forms are difficult to fill out. Safepay is a great concept, but since it involves a third-party browser, some sites will experience trouble loading or won't load at all, making the shopping experience a drag.
