    Beyonce's Baby Security Angers Parent

The arrival of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's newborn daughter at a Manhattan hospital has inconvenienced a man who says the couple's security team has prevented him from visiting his two prematurely-born twin girls.

Speaking with the New York Daily News, 38-year-old Neil Coulon of Brooklyn says the security team has repeatedly stopped him from visiting the neonatal intensive care unit at Lenox Hill Hospital.

"These are children with problems in intensive care and you're just going to take over the hospital like you own it? All I want is an apology," he says.

A spokeswoman for the hospital told the Daily News she was unaware of any complaints regarding Beyoncé and Jay-Z's security staff until the newspaper brought it to her attention.

The Daily News has reported that Bey and Jay paid the hospital 1.3 million dollars to seal off a wing of the hospital to assure their privacy. Their child, reportedly named Blue Ivy Carter, was born Saturday night.

If they wanted privacy, they should have hired a private physician to come to thier house, not seal off a wing of a PUBLIC hospital.

I read in google that they had a surrogant, don't know if its true or not, really don't care! maybe thats why they had a whole wing to them selve's, so no one would find out the real truth on who had the baby!

You know what there baby and privacy is no more important then somebody down the hall who is a middle class person,I don't care if they our famous,if it was me I would have been in jail,my son was a preemie and their isn't anybody famous or not that would keep me from seeing him, least of all some rich peoples security staff,I would have gone down fighting,I didn't know that you could pay millions and have the maternity wing be your own,,SHAME ON THE HOSPITAL FOR LETTING IT HAPPEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE HE SUES !!!!!!!!

I think that people who have this many grammatical errors in their crazy rants should be restricted from commenting... then again I guess almost every yahoo news story would therefore be restricted as well..
      • daniel 4 mths ago
Also, how would being thrown in jail for fighting at a hospital help you to see your "preemie"? You have been watching too much "reality" t.v. in which white trash is shown solving their problems with their fists, instead of with reason.

Sealing off a wing is a bit over the top, I do understand their concerns, but there also has to be consideration for others with newborns. Had I had a premy there, we certainly would have had problems with someone impeding me. And would have sued the HOSPITAL, this falls squarely on their shoulders for allowing such nonsense.
      • Bobbie 4 mths ago
Absolutely...Beyonce and her husband could have asked for it all day long, but the hospital allowed it, and they're wrong for doing so. It's literally a situation where their actions verified that one famous couple and their baby were more important than all of the other families and babies combined.

"...verified that one famous couple and their baby were more important than all of the other families and babies combined." - I'll go one further - one famous couple's MONEY...

This is the trouble with many entertainers - too much money, too little respect for others.
      • marshhawk 4 mths ago
Many entertainers think the rules to not apply to them only John Q. Public. They forget they to were John Q Public at one time.--and their fans can make them John Q. Public again.

If you think these people are entertainers you obviously have no class or taste.
More like irritators is what they are.

WHAT?! My firstborn was born with gastroschisis and spent her first 3 months in the Level III NICU having surgeries - I wish some snooty rich motherf****er's security guards WOULD have tried to keep me from her! That was 6 1/2 years ago, but they'd still be talking about the aftermath to this day, and, with good behavior, I'd probably be getting out soon. This guy is nicer than I am, apparently.

Congratulations on their new bundle of joy but I now lost my respect to Beyonce and Jay-Z. Very inconsiderate of you to manipulate Lennox Hospital by paying them off a large amount of money while other new parents are harrassed to see their new babies.
    • Tim G  •  4 mths ago
People like Beyoncé and Jay-Z feel that they are above us and that we are nothing more than "in their way". If they wanted that much security, she should have home birthed...

I thought those two were cool people, I can see I was incorrect. I don't care who you are, you are not that special.

Rebuke these selfish, wealthy one percenters...stop watching and buying what they put out; when the income stops, they rejoin the real world.

so their baby is more important then the other mans baby because they have money, if i was that man i would sue them in get sum of that money for my baby and family since they have so much to throw away on like renting a public hospital

very dissapointed with the actions of the new celeb parents....just lost a fan for being simply arrogant and rude to others.
    • Kenneth  •  4 mths ago
Shame on the hospital for catering to arrogant, self serving people just for the money

Since the working class people can't come on your floor, how about we don't buy #$%$ and J's #$%$ anymore.
    • Bad Timing  •  4 mths ago
Why didn't they spend $1.3 million and buy a doctor and nurse and take the kid home?
    • ohnoyoudidnt  •  Bellevue, Washington  •  4 mths ago
He needs to sue the hospital. For lets say, ummm, 1.3 million dollars.,,,,charges should be filed against the security team for keeping people away from thier children.
    • Brandon  •  Norfolk, Virginia  •  4 mths ago
This disgusts me. NOBODY should EVER prevent someone from seeing their newborn children. EVER. Nobody is more important than someone else's child. How in the world was it even legal to pay to deny services to other citizens in a hospital? How is that not a blatant denial of care to others? I'm pretty sure denial of care is illegal as well.

Why do todays parents hang such weird names on their kids? I know of one little girl named Misty Dawn. Her parents got all bent out of shape when i called her foggy morning.
