Chaz Bono Dating Show in the Works

"The Bachelor," meet Chaz Bono: Cher's son could soon be starring in a dating show of his very own.

The executive producers of "Becoming Chaz," last year's OWN documentary about Bono's transition from a woman to man, told ABCNews.com that they're in talks with the former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant to develop a dating show. Bono split from fiancee Jennifer Elia last December.  "We're devastated that they're no longer together, but it's probably a good thing for both of them," producer Fenton Bailey said at Saturday night's GLAAD Media Awards in New York.

"We are talking to them about doing new projects, mainly Chaz. Maybe a dating show," added Bailey's production partner, Randy Barbato. Though Bono may be handing out roses to a new batch of hopefuls, Barbato said he and Elia are still on good terms.

"It was a very amicable split," he said. "They're good friends and they're both moving on with their lives. They have lots of mutual friends. They're sort of growing into being single."

Elsewhere on the GLAAD red carpet, as former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum swept the Louisiana Republican primary, three-time national figure skating champion Johnny Weir - who often wears stilettos when he's off the ice - declared he'd like to "kick him in the balls."

"I'm sad that my state ever put him in a position of power," the Coatesville, Pa. native said. "Anyone that compares me and my lifestyle to bestiality, it hurts my feelings." (And potentially their nether regions.)

Once the show started, it was all love. John Stamos hopped on stage with "Glee" stars and GLAAD Awards co-hosts Naya Rivera and Cory Monteith to auction off kisses to the highest bidder. All three stars quickly raised $5,000 each for charity, and Stamos didn't back out of his promise when he discovered his bidder was a man. "Come to daddy!," he called, before giving him a quick peck.
