More Fireworks on ‘Kourtney & Kim Take N.Y.'

ABC News’ Andrea Canning reports:

The fireworks continued between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries on the second episode of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” on E! Sunday night.

Once again, the sparks flew over their tenuous living situation, just eight weeks into their new marriage.

“You want to live in separate cities?” Kim, 31, asks Kris, 26, of his decision to move back home to Minnesota to train for his NBA career.  ”If that’s what you want, fine.   I’ll go pack and we will live in separate cities.”

“I will Skype you to say bye,” the reality star says as she slams the door on her basketball star husband.

The show’s viewers know how the story ends, with Kardashian filing for divorce from Humphries just 72 days after tying the knot in a multimillion dollar wedding extravaganza, which also aired on E! as its own reality special.

Not caught by E!’s cameras but unfolding now before the public’s eye is even more courtroom drama for Kardashian and Humphries.

Last week, Humphries responded to his wife’s divorce filing by filing for an annulment of their marriage in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing “fraud” as the reason.

“There are several reports coming out, one that he wants the slate wiped clean for religious reasons, that he just wants to start his life anew,” Ericka Souter, staff writer for Us Weekly magazine told ABC News, of Humphries’ desire seek an annulment instead of a divorce.

“Another report claims that Kris wants the extensive confidentiality contract in the prenup null and void,” Souter said.  “That would allow him to talk freely about what really happened behind closed doors.”

Sources close to Humphries have repeatedly claimed he was blind-sided by the divorce, while sources close to Kardashian say she is now the one taken by surprise by Humphries’ retaliatory move.

The Associated Press reports Humphries has requested that if an annulment isn’t granted, the couple be deemed legally separated.  Both sides have asked the judge to prevent their now-ex spouse from receiving spousal support, and Kardashian wants her husband to pay his own legal fees.

While Kardashian and Humphries’ fighting on the show led to divorce, the other couple at odds on the show, Kim’s sister, Kourtney, 32, and her boyfriend Scott Disick, 28, just announced they’re having a baby.

News that the couple, whose other child, Mason, will turn 2 this month, are expecting surprised viewers who learned in the show’s premier episode that the two sleep in separate beds.

“I feel like there’s a huge void in my life,” Disick said.  “I don’t have a relationship after 10 p.m.  Courtney reports to her room and I report to mine.  It’s ridiculous.”

The couple of five years has been dogged by rumors of Disick’s alleged infidelity and hard partying, his struggles to get along with her close-knit family and her reluctance to get married.

“They’ve had a lot of problems,” Us Weekly’s Souter said of the pair. “She’s complained about his drinking and partying and he’s tried to slow down that lifestyle.”

“They seem to have come to an agreement…and they’re happy once again,” she said.  “Kourtney has always wanted Mason to have a little brother or sister, and she wanted to have it with Scott.”
