Lindsay Lohan, Dina Lohan Prompt 911 Call: Report

More problems for Lindsay Lohan: According to the Associated Press, police were called to her childhood home on New York's Long Island Wednesday morning after hearing reports of a fight between the 26-year-old actress and her mother.

Nassau County police told the AP that officers were called around 8 a.m. to the Merrick, N.Y., home where Lohan grew up. Her mother, Dina Lohan, lives in the house with some of Lindsay's siblings. An investigation revealed "no criminality." Police did not release details on the subject of the argument.

Lohan's publicist declined ABCNews.com's requests for comment. Messages left with Dina Lohan were not answered.

According to TMZ.com, the argument started around 4 a.m. at New York City's Dream Downtown, the hotel where Lohan was accused of a hit-and-run last month. TMZ said Lohan wanted to "take her limo to her New York City hotel, but Dina wanted to take it to her home in Long Island, to avoid paying for a taxi."

Dina Lohan recently made headlines with an incoherent appearance on "Dr. Phil." Her daughter has defended her since that interview, calling her "amazing, beautiful, talented" and "so strong" on Twitter.

Lindsay Lohan was last involved in an NYPD investigation two weeks ago, when she claimed a man had assaulted her at the W Hotel in Union Square. Charges against the man were later dropped.
