The Secret to Stacy Kiebler's Soft, Sexy Golden Globes Makeup

ABC News Blogs

George Clooney was the man of the hour at the Golden Globes Sunday night, what with two nominations, one win, and one giggle-inducing penis joke. But Stacy Kiebler, his woman of the moment, turned heads on her own thanks to her vibrant, red Valentino gown and effortlessly chic hair and makeup.

Makeup artist Marina Gravani spent two hours on Kiebler ahead of the Globes. From the start, she knew she wanted to keep the look simple. "With a red dress, you can overdo it sometimes," Gravani told ABCNews.com. "You could go really dark and vampy or matchy-matchy with the lipstick but I wanted to keep her soft and pretty."

Gravani treated Kiebler's face with a KeSARI pore-minimizing masque the day before the show and applied an eye cream to reduce puffiness the following morning. She then used NYX Cosmetics to apply foundation, create a soft, smoky eye, and a nude, easy to retouch lip, the better to sip champagne and still look stunning.
