Prepare yourself for Lindsay Lohan's (potential) comeback.
The trailer for Lohan's latest film, "The Canyons," came out Monday and shows the 26-year-old actress stripping down and getting frisky all over Hollywood. Lohan's character, Tara, is described in the trailer as "sweet as sin." The grainy footage is accompanied by quotable taglines, such as "where the sex is as cheap as the budget and the only way out is death."
Lohan plays an ex-model in "The Canyons," which was penned by famed writer Bret Easton Ellis and is directed by Paul Schrader, who wrote the Robert De Niro classic "Taxi Driver." She stars with adult film actor James Deen and appears topless in one scene. Schrader and Ellis have said that the film chronicles the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition. The tagline on the film's Facebook page says it's "not 'The Hills,'" a reference to MTV's sparkling reality-soap about 20-somethings in L.A.
According to the Schrader, Lohan's happy with the final product.
"Showed LL [Lindsay Lohan] the film tonight. She saw and she understood," he wrote last week on the film's Facebook page. "What a wonderful moment for her. Some tears, some hard words, some kisses but that's life in Lindsayland. Sometimes the movie gods smile. Sometimes you get lucky. LL and I got lucky."
