Water Wigs

Commercial advertising photographer Tim Tadder has a thing for water, as seen in his "Fish Heads" series. He calls his newest wet works "Water Wigs," and while the basic concept is simple, capturing the moments is the tricky part.

The Conquistador

The Bun

Start with a group of bald men Tadder called "awesome," and hurl water balloons at their heads.

The Friar

The Burning Man

Captured through high-speed photography, the result is another fascinating group of images.

The Mohawk

The Mohawk II

Photographing the watery explosions at various intervals, using a laser and sound to trigger the camera shutter, the trio of colors employed produce images that are both "arresting and amusing," Tadder says.

The Angel

His personal favorites are "The Don King," "The Conquistador," "The Jesus" and "The Friar."
