    • ‘Ridiculously Photogenic Surgery Girl’ Creates New Meme Sensation

Last month, Zeddie 'Watkins' Little became an Internet meme sensation when a photo of him running a 10K went viral. He quickly became known as 'the ridiculously photogenic guy.' Well, now he has a female counterpart, and she's being called 'the ridiculously photogenic surgery girl.'

A photograph of a 28-year-old woman named Rachel originally appeared on the Ask Me Anything section of Reddit. Rachel, who has congenital emphysema, posted from the ICU at the Cleveland Clinic, where 60% of her lung had been removed. She posted a photo of herself after the operation, and it spread like wildfire, becoming the newest Internet meme.

The meme started out with her image and the words "Lose 60% of her lung...wins 100% of my heart." So far, the meme has been shared thousands of times. One of the people who commented on her original posting was actually staying at the same hospital and paid Rachel a visit.

Rachel said she's overwhelmed by all of the attention. "People have been saying so many nice

A lot of people have bad first dates. That's nothing new. Not everyone emails a survey afterward to find out why it went wrong, but that is exactly what 24-year-old Michael Stolar does. The Philadelphia finance worker sends "dating response forms" -- a tongue-in-cheek ploy -- to women after going out with them.

Stolar has so far sent six women the date survey email. He's received two responses. The title of one email is a quote from Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet": "Good night! Good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow."

The survey contains several humorous multiple-choice and essay questions such as "Please rate Mike's outfit on a scale of 1-10, with a higher score associated with how much you wanted to take the outfit off." Another question references his physical appearance: "Mike is very self-conscious about his hair. Does he

Beer maker Guinness marked the 250th anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing his infamous 9,000-year lease for the St. James Brewery in Dublin in a unique way--it commissioned the first ever deep-sea bar.

As a part of its "Guinness Sea Experience," the company partnered with architecture firm Jump Studios to turn the interior of a submarine into an underwater bar. Jump Studios was asked to create a space that embodied the Guinness brand's slogan, "Alive Inside."

The submarine has sculpted seats covered in rubber discs to prevent sliding and slipping, LED lights, tables and of course, cup holders. In addition to being visually stunning, the space had to meet strict marine specifications regarding ventilation and fire safety.

But what's a deep-sea bar with no patrons? Guinness ran a global promotion for a chance to win a trip aboard the submarine. The winner, Evelyne Gridelet, and

    • Chicago Newlyweds Caught In NATO Protests

Newlywed bliss turned into a nightmare for one Chicago couple this weekend. Beth and Tim Alberts were married Saturday and were attempting to take pictures of the happy moments after their wedding ceremony when they were interrupted by protests near Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago. Thousands of antiwar protesters filled downtown streets as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) gathered for a summit in the area to discuss alliances, international security, and war policies.

As the Albertses were exiting the church they had just said their vows in, swarms of Occupy Chicago participants marched by and chanted, disrupting the wedding party as they tried to enjoy the moments after the ceremony and snap a few shots. In a video captured by the Chicago Sun-Times, Beth can be heard saying, "Let's get out of here." That's exactly what happened next: The wedding party gathered and

    • Rare Picture from The Beatles’ ‘Abbey Road’ Shoot Up for Auction

Beatles fans, get ready to try to own a piece of history. A rare photo taken in 1969 of the Beatles for their famous "Abbey Road" album cover is being auctioned May 22. Estimates are that the picture could generate a bid as high as $17,000, even though this is not the photo that was ultimately chosen for the cover.

An infamous urban legend claimed that Paul McCartney was dead and had been replaced by a look-alike in the photograph. The picture up for auction dispels this myth. In this rare photo, McCartney is seen crossing Abbey Road in sandals, but on the album cover he is not wearing any shoes.

Apparently, during the 10-minute shoot, McCartney got hot and kicked off his sandals. In addition, the Beatles are walking from right to left instead of left to right. Photographer Iain Macmillan stood on a ladder and took only six pictures as a cop held up traffic. Another difference: In the newly surfaced photo, McCartney is holding a cigarette.

McCartney drew a sketch depicting his idea

Can you get by on $1.48 per meal for a week? That's the campaign challenge that the Food Bank for New York City has posed to those interested in seeing what it's like to live on food stamps. Celebrity chef Mario Batali and his family have accepted the challenge and are living on $31 a week per person. Batali, his wife, and their two teenage sons are doing something that 1.8 million New Yorkers and 46 million Americans depend on.

Batali admits the challenge was difficult at first, but he has adapted. Instead of eating expensive items such as filet mignon or truffle oil, he chooses beans, rice, chicken, and pasta. He said he quickly learned that not buying organic could cut the price of produce by 50 percent. As for his kids, they're eating plenty of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches right now.

He is even spreading the message of the challenge on his daily show "The Chew" and

Finding true love can happen at any age. Peggy Marie Pence and Henry Freund, college sweethearts from Tennessee, first fell in love in the early 1950s as students at Southwestern at Memphis (now known as Rhodes College). But when Freund graduated, joined the Army, and moved away, Pence moved on with her life, graduating from Southwestern, marrying Howard Schuster, and having three children. Freund was stationed at Fort Bliss, in El Paso, Texas, where he got married and had three children, as well.

Years later, Freund attended seminary and was ordained into the ministry. During a church meeting back in Tennessee, Freund heard that his former love had been widowed. He, too, had lost his spouse. Freund wrote to Schuster to express his sympathies for her loss. Ten years later, Schuster gave Freund her e-mail address, and the two began to communicate again.

      Freund said, "It didn't take

The London Summer Olympics do not begin until July, but world records are already being broken. The world's tallest Lego structure was completed Sunday to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Danish toy maker. Standing 105 feet high in front of Seoul's Olympic Stadium, the structure took more than 50,000 colorful bricks and five days to construct. More than 4,000 children participated in the construction.

The final piece of the tower was put in place by Danish Crown Prince Frederick. This new tower bested the height of the previous tallest structure, which was built in France in October and stood at 103 feet. So far the new structure has already received more than 30,000 visitors.

The first official Lego tower was built in London in 1988 and reached nearly 50 feet. The record for the tallest tower has been broken now more than 30 times.

Mother's Day is Sunday, May 13. If you're still struggling with what to give your mom, the American Coalition for Labor Reparations may have the perfect gift idea for you. The ACFLR, a fictitious organization created by the Mother New York ad agency, has created an online tool to help you calculate exactly how much you owe your mom for giving birth to you, using very precise criteria.

The calculator factors in the amount of time your mom spent in labor, the amount of weight she gained carrying you, the number of alcoholic beverages she missed out on, and the stretch marks she incurred, and even gives you an 80 percent deduction from the total amount if you turned out to be a good child.

The ACFLR also posted a comical mock video of moms talking about what they went through during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. So far, the video has gotten more than 5,000 views in the three days
