AP110425111066Donald Trump today is busy singlehandedly taking credit for pressuring the president to release his long-form birth certificate. White House actions aside, according to new media statistics, the real estate mogul is actually responsible for boosting overall coverage of the 2012 race.
"For much of this year, the looming presidential race has been simmering only in the background of the news," writes Mark Jurkowitz of the Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism.
