Johnny Weir's Husband Fires Back With Scandalous Divorce Response Docs

With gay marriage, comes gay divorce, and Johnny Weir has thrown down the gauntlet for one of America's messiest gay celeb splits to date.

The former figure skater spoke publicly last week to Access Hollywood about his reasons for divorcing his husband of just over two years, Victor Voronov.

"I was losing myself being married to my husband," he told Billy Bush on "Access Hollywood." "I was losing my objectives in life. I was very isolated from the world.

Johnny's divorce filing (which Voronov claims took him by surprise) contained few details beyond the requisite checked box of "irreconcilable differences."

Victor claimed on Twitter last Thursday that he was taken by surprise from the filing:

However, Voronov's response, filed Monday, revealed many more juicy details, including accusations of infidelity, repeated physical abuse, and pet abduction.

In his notice of cross application, Victor asks the court to deny Weir's application in its entirety and claims that several items — including 40 Balencia bags, 20 Furs, a Cartier gold watch, two Birken bags, and 12 Chanel bags, amongst other items — were improperly removed from their shared residence. He also requests that Weir continue paying all of their shared monthly expenses and unreimbursed medical and counseling expenses, while also continuing to provide him a monthly alimony stipend.

But here's where things really heat up — in Voronov's answer and counterclaim for divorce, he goes far above and beyond "irreconcilable differences."

First, Victor states that he's "without sufficient means to support himself in the style and standard to which he has become accustomed during the parties' marriage."

Victor then claims that Johnny has taken their shared Japanese dog, Tëma, and asks to be awarded back custody. He claims that Johnny previously did not allow Victor's dog of eight years, Togo, to live with them, because Togo would "take away time and attention defendant needed to devote to plaintiff."

Just hours after Voronov's filing became public, Johnny posted a photo of Tëma to his Instagram captioned, "Such a happy face to come home to after a very long day! #???? #japanesechin"

Victor claims that during their marriage, Johnny "committed acts of adultery, including but not limited to: with a Chicago club owner; and, during the summer of 2013, performed oral sex on another man and engaged in a threesome while at a hotel in Los Angeles; and, engaged in a sexting relationship with a porn star, 'Michael Lucas.'"

Victor claims that when he confronted Johnny on these issues, Johnny would lavish him with purchases and beg forgiveness, only to repeat such conduct. He adds that Johnny treated him "like an errand boy there for his every demand" and "would become angry and violent" if he didn't comply. Victor claims Johnny "would shove, hit, kick, slap, bite, and throw things" during his fits of rage.

Victor lays out a case for "extreme cruelty" against him, siting several examples. He claims that Johnny insisted he "come out" as a "gay" man, even though he had been living a heterosexual life prior to meeting Johnny. He claims he was forced out of the closet when Johnny disclosed their relationship on his Logo reality TV show.

He points out that Johnny would publicly refer to him as a "Georgetown graduate lawyer" to give himself more credibility. "Unbeknownst to defendant, plaintiff was using defendant as a prop so that he could pitch another season for his reality show to cover 'his life as a married man,'" the complaint continues. "Defendant was devastated to learn that he was just a prop."

Victor claims that Johnny's action caused him "to suffer loneliness, anxiety, humiliation, and serious emotional pain." Mostly, he claims, because Johnny insisted that Victor could have no outside interests besides Johnny's own career and pursuits.

Sounds stressful!
