Martha Stewart Schools Meredith Vieira on Bathroom Etiquette... From a Toilet Seat

In this world, there are two kinds of people: those who talk in the bathroom and those who do not. By any metric, it appears that Martha Stewart falls into the second camp, but Meredith Vieira is determined to get some gab going with the Queen of Etiquette if it doesn't kill her first.

One of life's simplest pleasures is to watch Martha Stewart barely tolerate whichever plebeian she's been forced to speak with lately.

During a recent appearance on The Meredith Vieira Show, Vieira and Stewart sat down for a chat on the commode to talk about bathroom etiquette. Here are the rules for using the bathroom, Martha Stewart style:

1. Wipe the seat when necessary... and toilet paper alone will not do. "If I have to, I just use what I have in my bag," Stewart said, pulling bathroom cleaner and rags from her purse.

2. For a festive flair, fold your toilet paper into origami.

3. Living the Good Long Life by Martha Stewart is ideal literature for extended trips to the commode.

The world may never know if Martha Stewart sits or squats.

In additon to doling out bathroom tips, Stewart also gifted Vieira a plethrora of dog toys from her own line and a fully made mille crepe cake. Vieira did not seem at all phased by the fact that she did not have any gifts for Stewart.

This wasn't Vieira's first go-round with "Stall Talk." Meredith also shared a glass or three of wine with America's wine-soaked aunts, Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, in the loo.
