7 Times Jessica Simpson's Maxwell Was Totally Her Mother's Daughter
Jessica Simpson is notorious for her coquettish mannerisms, but have you seen her spawn, lil' Maxwell Johnson? Okay, she's too young to be called even remotely flirty — she just turned 3 a few weeks ago — but she's definitely inheriting her mama's dramatic antics, especially when she's in front of the camera.
Judging by the photos Jessica has posted on Instagram, Maxwell is totally her mother's daughter. Look no further than the photographic proof we've curated, starting with this recent photo of Maxwell puckering up. Can't you see the resemblance?
Given this model-worthy shot showing off her Janie and Jack swimsuit, she sure knows how to pose like her mama does.
And what about the sassy sticking-the-tongue-out pose? (Her mom has been caught sticking her tongue out, too... only it was for a totally different reason — cough cough, PDA, cough cough.)
Just like her mother, Maxwell has a predilection for some big shades... and perfectly big pouts.
Little Maxi literally pulls from her mama's stuff. "I need to move my lipgloss drawer!" Jessica wrote last fall. "My favorites always get taken by this 2 yr old!" Wonder where she gets her taste in makeup from?
"Someone got into Mommy's lipgploss," Jessica wrote, before calling her own daughter a "#POSER." She means well!
But it appears Jessica sees the resemblance, too. As she put it in this photo of the two of them mugging for the camera together, "Maxi loves wearing her daddy's t-shirts after bath...just like her momma :)"
Like mother, like daughter indeed. Now we just have to wait to see if she can sing like her mama, too. (In the meantime, Maxwell's definitely got the diva attitude required for a future as a popstar.)
