Swizz Beatz Throws Alicia Keys an Adorable Baby Shower
With Alicia Keys's New Year's Eve due date fast approaching, the Grammy-winning singer celebrated her impending arrival with a little help from her family.
Alicia's husband Swizz Beatz —real name Kasseem Dean — threw a gorgeous baby shower for the soon-to-be mother of two over the weekend. "
Baby Vibes" the 36-year-old producer captioned the above photo on Instagram. In the snapshot, a beaming Keys, 33, looks gorgeous in a comfortable red dress adorned with a ribbon (we're guessing thatt it reads "world's best mom") standing next to her husband. Swizz's father was also on hand to help out with the festivities.
Swizz and Alicia's 3-year-old son Egypt was also on hand for the festivities and even donned a dapper little suit for the occasion. He posed with his mom underneath a pink-and-blue welcome sign that read, "Welcome to Alicia's and Kasseem's Baby Shower." (The couple has yet to reveal their baby's gender, hence the dual coloring.)
In another photo Swizz shared, he can be seen enjoying a toast with his wife. "
#blessings #almostready," the musician captioned the below pic. While Alicia was no doubt sipping on a non-alcoholic beverage, the rest of her guests enjoyed champagne.
Keys recently gushed about how excited Egypt is to become a big brother.
"He comes up and kisses the belly all the time, and he's always asking, ‘Mommy, can the baby be in the bed with me?' I'm like, ‘well not at the beginning,'" she recalled last month on Live! With Kelly and Michael. Apparently Egypt is holding out hope for a little brother.
By the looks of things, he should know pretty soon!
