Taylor Swift Explains That Whole Backward Hiking Thing
Is hiking while walking backward the latest celebrity fitness craze? Taylor Swift says no.
The 1989 songstress, 25, was snapped doing just that and the photo found its way to Tumblr, as things do. But when a fan asked her what she was doing, Swift said it was a snapperazzi deterrent, not a trendy new fitness move.
"Taylor wtf is happening here im confused," fan thebentley13 asked. A second commenter, newwromantiks, then wrote, "It's like she is doing that test that police officers do to see if you're drunk or not," along with a gif of Kristen Wiig from Bridesmaids.
Taylor saw the exchange and offered an explanation, writing, "I saw the guy with the camera and wasn't in the mood so I hiked the whole trail backwards and my security told me when to make turns."
She added, "Ah, the tranquility of the great outdoo-TAYLORCANYOULOOKOVERHEREGIVEUSASMILEAREYOUDATI."
Now that we have that resolved, can we talk about those green short shorts? I was an '80s kid and I believe they were part of my Catholic school gym uniform.
