Tila Tequila Gets People Talking Again … In a Bad Way
Perhaps Tila Tequila believes the old saying that "any publicity is good publicity."
On Tuesday, the 32-year-old former reality star — remember her MTV show "A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila"? — became a trending topic on Twitter after a succession of weird blog posts appeared on her official website. She ranted about sympathizing with Adolf Hitler and posted a photo of herself wearing a Swastika arm band on her blog. That came just days after she'd posted about actor Paul Walker's death by car crash being a "ritualistic murder" and about 9/11 conspiracies.
Since Tequila's show ended in 2008, she's had some really bad times — and press. In 2009, she accused her then-boyfriend, San Diego Chargers lineman Shawne Merriman, of choking her and throwing her down, which resulted in dueling lawsuits between the two that weren't settled until the following year. Officials declined to charge him. In 2010, her fiancée, heiress Casey Johnson, died suddenly at age 30, and last year, she went to rehab after an overdose on pills and a brain aneurysm.
Of course, most folks on Twitter didn't respond to kindly to news that the pint-sized Tequila had resurfaced defending Hitler. Here are a few of their reactions:
Tila Tequila wore a Nazi uniform and called Hitler a 'sweet kid'? It's pathetic how far some people will go for attention..

I never thought I'd say this but I'm not sure I want my little girl looking up to Tila Tequila anymore.

Do you think her offensive posts are a ploy for publicity … or a cry for help?
