Former Chicago news anchor Diann Burns and her husband sold their Lincoln Park mansion yesterday for a whopping $4.525 million (just $300K below the list price).

The home was built for just $2 million in 2003, according to the Chicago Tribune.

What Burns parted with: The house has six bedrooms, 5.5 baths, and a built-in garage. The home is also loaded with outdoor space, with a large, landscaped backyard that has a mini basketball court and a fountain, a second-floor terrace, and a big roof deck with nice skyline views.

The MLS has it listed at 7,000 square feet, including the finished basement.

In 2006, Burns and her husband, Marc Watts, sued their contractor for shoddy work on the home, and they later settled out of court.

The power couple announced in the fall that they were headed for California, where Watts can find more career opportunities, and their son can shoot hoops year-round.
