    Federer stuns Djokovic in Dubai

Roger Federer claimed the 84th title of his legendary career, kept his nose in front in his personal rivalry with Novak Djokovic, and equalled his best achievement at any tournament by winning the Dubai Open for the seventh time on Saturday. He had to be pleased with what he had done, he reckoned, even if it was the first time that he had lost in his five finals here.

  • Ferrari boss takes a provocative stance

By Alan Baldwin BARCELONA (Reuters) - Ferrari boss Maurizio Arrivabene has taken a provocative stance, before the Formula One season has even started, in response to rumors about a clampdown on access passes for teams. Arrivabene, a marketing man who was appointed in November, sat with Ferrari's Mexican reserve driver Esteban Gutierrez and sporting director Massimo Rivola among spectators during testing in Barcelona.

  • Soccer-Matchwinner Suarez repaying Barcelona's faith

By Iain Rogers MADRID, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Barcelona's decision to buy Luis Suarez from Liverpool following his ban for biting an opponent at the 2014 World Cup raised a few eyebrows but it increasingly appears their faith in the Uruguay forward was justified. After setting the Premier League alight last season, Suarez had a slow start following his 81 million-euro ($90.7 million) switch to Spain, taking longer than expected to hit scoring form since the ban expired at the end of October. While he struggled to find the net himself in his first few months back, he earned praise from Barca coach Luis Enrique for his work rate and link-up play and, perhaps more importantly, managed to avoid any repeat of the controversy that has dogged his career. As the season approaches a crucial stage, Suarez is starting to motor and struck again in La Liga on Saturday following Tuesday's brace against Manchester City in the Champions League.
