Rupert Murdoch's son James Murdoch was arrested on Saturday night in London in connection with the ongoing phone-hacking investigation. At least, that was the news reported by a Twitter account belonging to BSkyB, the television station where he is non-executive chairman.
James Murdoch, News Corp. Europe chief executive officer, was questioned by British police at 10 p.m. local time, the report from the SkyNewsBiz feed said. A spokesperson for News Corp. could not be reached.
However, according to Neal Mann, a field producer for BSkyB, the network "has no information to suggest that James Murdoch has been arrested and believe the @SkyNewsBiz account has been hacked." The tweet has since been deleted.Read More »from BSkyB Twitter feed reports James Murdoch arrested in phone-hacking case
