The CutlineColbert clobbers CNN’s caucus-night ‘flick’ screen fiasco
Anderson Cooper predicted Jon Stewart would have a field day skewering CNN's tech-heavy but not-so-tech-savvy coverage of the 2012 Iowa caucuses. He was wrong. It was Stephen Colbert.
Like plenty of others, Colbert noticed CNN's difficulty with its own technology on Tuesday.
"CNN debuted their new 'flick' technology," Colbert observed, "which allowed them to throw charts at each other across the studio, when it wasn't confounding Erin Burnett." Colbert even offered Burnett "a lesson in flickology" by introducing Comedy Central's answer to CNN's "flick" screen: the "Flicktronitron 5600."
