Alyssa Milano, the actress most famous for her roles on Who's the Boss? and Charmed, has appealed to the fans who fantasized about the sexy spells she could cast on them by releasing a sex tape.

Milano tweeted about a leaked video on Wednesday.

But anyone who clicked on the link quickly discovered sneaky Milano had tricked them into watching something more important than a celebrity sex tape.

In the video, Milano, acting drunk, arrives in a bedroom sprinkled with rose petals and fumbles to set up a camera. As she turns around, she kicks the camera toward the television, where the audience hears an explanation about the conflict in Syria.

The video by Funny or Die quickly went viral.

Milano told Mother Jones she acted in the video to inform the public.

"I think it was a really fun way to get people to realize that there are important issues our country is dealing with right now," she said.
