KBS 1 한국 방송국 ‘아침 마당’ 프로그램에 진행을 맡고 있던 이상벽이라는 살인학살자 놈이 프로그램 진행 중에 연예인들을 모아 놓고 ‘미국에서는 존경을 받고 엄청난 존재인 프로펫 이 가 한국에서 저렇게 미쳐서 돌아 있으니 .... 쯪쯪쯪’ 라는 아가리를 두서도 없이 끼어 넣기 방송식으로 지껄이고 아는 사람들이 그렇게 생각을 하도록 유도를 했다.

You people who think we are weak are delusional and truely most of what i have read forgot what happen on 9/11 all i can say if you got so many problems with america get the hell out we dont want you here or need you.

I I was in the military with breaks since Vietnam to the First Gulf War. This constant war mentality has caused us nothing but blood, money, respectability and for all you Right Wingers out there - a deterioration of our Constitution. Even though I could be classified as a Left Wing Democrat Progressive - that is where I part company with Mr. Obama. Obama makes the same stupid mistakes that all our Presidents GOP or Dem keep making - they willingly forget the fact that America has no mandate to change the world - it is America's duty to be an EXAMPLE to the world. That is where this country keeps screwing up. You don't teach Democracy at the point of a bayonet - the lesson never takes. The 4 year tour I had at the Pentagon under Reagan taught me exactly what is wrong with American Foreign Policy. This idea that we are so superior, so moral - that the quality of our life is so much better - that we are prettier - sweeter and just all-around gosh darn wonderful is a load of crap. And this is the attitude that we have polluted the planet with.

At the end of WWII we were loved by the world - not just because we were one of the victors, but because people around the planet looked to us as the hope of the planet for Freedom and Creativity and Tolerance. They saw us fight Facism, they saw how industry and the government came together to help their people out of a world wide economic depression and they go on to help defeat Tojo and Hitler. And yes, there was much injustice in our society against Native Americans, and other people of color - but even with they the world saw that we had good and decent people that were begining to stand up and lend a hand to fight those injustices. So by and large America was the world's Good Guy.

However, we allowed a certain Hubris to make us think that we could best direct the affairs of the world, plus we allowed to many people in Corporate America to confuse their bottom lione with patriotism. As a result - we too often came down on the side of former Colonial Masters and the wealthy part of countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America - we began to undue the good image that the world had of us - which is one of the main reasons why are policies are hated through so much of the Middle East and Latin America.

9-11 was a tragedy - and one that we here in New York will have nightmares about, but knowing the Pentagon and the State Department from the inside as I do - I must be honest to my country and say that - I pray to God that we don't find out someday that 9-11 was something that didn't happen out of the clear blue and that it was done in reaction to some foreign policy initiative that some smart ass in DoD or State Department came up with - in Intelligence it's called "Blow Back".

Yeah, I'm already seeing speaking chinese as a requirement for jobs. This is just not right, this is America #$%$ it!

Whether what Obama left on the table runs against our grain or not, it's at least something we can bite on to, and we can fix the politics later. We need to get something going now because we really don't have much time. Congress needs to make a move (a tweek here and a bang there) or feel the wrath of the majority of Americans.

Since 9/11 the US standing in the world has deteriorated considerably . Seeking to stamp out terrorism comes across as blind fury and revenge . Wars in Afganistan and Iraq have been ill coceived disasters . The United States has turned from being the Good Guys to being the Bad Guys around the world .

In this War, like in previous Korean War and Vietnam War, tactically and militarily, US prevails; but strategically, Al Quaeda, as Osama had stated in his speech after 911, they successed dragging US down by bleeding the US economy, with very low budget versus trillions of US war budget.
Time to cut losses and come back to gather more strength before relaunching the fight with different strategies.

I've said this before,the Russians were in Afghanistan for ten years and got their rears handed to them and we think we can do better! Guess not, been there for 10 years and no where closer than the Russians got. When is Washington ever going to get it thru their thick heads it doesn't mean our way is better. I say just make the area a nice and quite area for the nect 20 years and problems solved and no troops lost! By the way get out troops home and put them on the border and trane down there!

Of course we have declined, fighting war's on basicly 3 fronts means greater losses, more stress on the troops and greater misdirection in the battle field. Time to leave the middle east theater, come home lick our wounds, secure our borders both north and south. Correct the internal problems we currentlly face like excessive gangs within our cities, too many illegals taking American jobs and our roads could use repairs so the constrution battalions can practice by working on American bridge's and highways.

Those countries have been fighting for thousands of years and will never stop,bring our troops home and lock down the borders

It's ironic when I hear people say that 9/11 didn't change our way of life. I guess those people have never took a flight before and after 9/11, the country as a whole live in constant fear, the economy in is down to its knee, welfare benefits have been cut, million are unemployed, our patriotism has increased so do our disdain toward some minorities, the government can barely pay its bills. All those changes are the shock waves of 9/11.

we need to re-enter a period of isolationism like before pearl harbor. Build things within. Create jobs here. Stop Chinese imports. Build iPhones here. To hell with the UN. When I call At&t tech support, I dot want an Indian who chooses different caucasian names every time he answers the phone.
