The Aftermath: Jay Sean: ‘I Didn’t Get Into Music to Be Famous’

Jay Sean, who recently released "Neon," his second album with Cash Money Records, said he intentionally made a departure from his usual cool guy image for his video "Where You Are." He wanted to show his sense of humor.

"Mr. Sunglasses is not going to cut it," he said when describing writing the video concept that included someone taking his cab, having ketchup and coffee spilled on his white clothes and being denied entrance into a club. He wanted the video to live up to the upbeat energy of the song.

He also discussed signing the group of comedy pranksters the Janoskians and explained why he keeps a positive outlook on his work.
