A 23-year-old woman reunited with her biological parents this week after spending years wondering who she was and why she felt like she didn't belong to her family.
Carlina White, who was 3 weeks old when she kidnapped from a New York City hospital by a woman dressed as a nurse, was raised in Connecticut under the alias Nedjra Nance, according to the New York Daily News. She says the woman who raised her was abusive and used drugs, and eventually admitted to not being her biological mother. (That woman said the media "have it all wrong," but declined to comment further to the paper.)
