Border Patrol agent charged with harboring illegal-immigrant father

A 26-year-old Border Patrol agent is accused of keeping his twice-deported father in his home and lying about it to federal agents, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Marcos Gerardo Manzano Jr.'s father was convicted of marijuana offense in 2006 and deported to Mexico.

Agents said they asked Manzano whether he had seen his father since his deportation and Manzano said he hadn't.

An FBI SWAT team raided his home Tuesday and did not find Manzano's father, but did find another once-deported illegal immigrant.

"It looked like a movie. It was a big scene," neighbor Daniel Lazo told NBC about the raid. "Seems impossible. They were everywhere."
