Four out of ten American millionaires don’t feel rich

A sizable chunk of American millionaires don't feel wealthy, according to a new survey by the investment firm Fidelity.

About 42 percent of the 1,000 people surveyed with at least $1 million in assets said they would need an average of $7.5 million to feel truly secure. This is actually an improvement from 2009, when 46 percent of the nation's millionaires said they did not feel rich.
