Report: Gunman, two dead in shootout in New Jersey


Several people are reported dead, including the apparent gunman after an early Friday morning shootout at a grocery store in New Jersey, reports NBC 4 New York.
The television station reports that a shootings occurred at the Pathmark store in Old Bridge at about 4 a.m. The station cited the Associated Press as reporting three people were killed including the gunman.

It is still unclear if the suspect killed himself or was shot by police.

The suspect was apparently wearing body armor, reported Good Morning America. Employees were at the store preparing for a 6 a.m. opening, GMA reports.

The scene is secure, according to media reports and police are conducting an investigation.
