Texas convict burns house down to go back to jail

Only three months after his release from a 26-year prison sentence, Randall Lee Church burned an empty house down so that he could return to jail, The San Antonio Express News reports. Church, who was locked up in 1983 for murder, says he didn't know how to use a computer or a cell phone, and didn't know how to survive outside a jail cell. "Everything had gone fast forward without me," he told the paper. (Via Gawker.)
