George Zimmerman has granted his first non-court-related interview to Fox News' Sean Hannity.

The hourlong interview, which will air at 9 p.m. EDT Wednesday on Hannity's show, is Zimmerman's first since being charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 26 shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman was released on $1 million bond on July 8, and the interview—taped Wednesday—was conducted in what appears to be a hotel room in an undisclosed Florida location.

According to Fox News, Zimmerman "will open up about what happened the night of Trayvon Martin's death and his experience in the aftermath of the fatal shooting." Zimmerman's defense attorney Mark O'Mara, who was seated next to Zimmerman for the interview, will also discuss the case. Transcripts have not yet been made available by the cable news network.

Zimmerman has received thousands of dollars in online donations through a public defense fund, including more than $36,000 since his release. But Fox News said it did not pay for its exclusive with Zimmerman. A spokeswoman for the network told Yahoo News that there was "no payment whatsoever in securing this interview."

On Monday, audiotapes of an interview with a family friend of Zimmerman's who told investigators he sexually molested her on and off for nearly a decade were released.

"He would reach under the blankets and try to do things," the woman—identified as Witness 9—told investigators. "I would try to push him off, but he was bigger, stronger and older."

Zimmerman's defense team later identified the unnamed woman as his cousin and denied the allegations.

The former neighborhood watchman pleaded not guilty to the second-degree murder charge, claiming he shot Martin in self-defense.
