Detroit Tigers infielder Jhonny Peralta came up big in his team's do-or-die game against the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday, hitting a game-tying three-run homer off Dan Straily in the bottom of the fifth inning.
But check out that sign to the left of home plate. Heh. See, it's funny because Peralta was among the crop of players who were suspended 50 games this season for their ties to the Biogenesis clinic in Miami. He was only able to return to the Tigers for this postseason run after doing the exact opposite of what that sign implores.
Coincidence? We'd like to think not — but it probably is.
