Hats off to Blue Jays closer Casey Janssen, who caught a foul with his cap

There's a brotherhood that comes from sitting in a MLB bullpen for a couple hours every game. Relief pitchers develop their own inside jokes, routines and they have to look out for each other.

It's a good thing for the other guys in the Toronto Blue Jays bullpen that closer Casey Janssen has their back — and that he has his cap. During Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays, Wil Myers lined a foul ball into the Blue Jays bullpen. Janssen was there for the save.

Janssen wasn't wearing his glove, but like an honorable leader, he sprung into action anyway. There were other pitchers to protect. Look at the Brett Cecil there, stretching on the ground. Someone needed to make sure he didn't get hit. So Janssen lifted his cap off his head and astutely used it to snag the foul ball.

The Blue Jays went on to win the game 1-0 and Janssen got the save, because obviously. All in a day's work for Casey Janssen, bullpen protector.
