Brandon Knight's 60-inch box jump will leave you impressed (Video)

The Milwaukee Bucks guard can’t wait to learn from a future NBA Hall of Fame player as his new coach.

Among the great YouTube videos of the last few years is one titled, "Brandon Knight is the unluckiest player in the NBA," a series of unfortunate incidents — including Ole Miss forward Reginald Buckner's rim-protecting block of the Kentucky product and, of course, DeAndre Jordan's rim-shattering alley-oop over the then-Pistons guard — all set to Daniel Powter's 2006 ballad "Bad Day."

Truth is, Knight is a freakish athlete only getting freakier, as evidenced by this remarkable video of him successfully completing a 60-inch box jump posted on the Milwaukee Bucks' Vine account.

As the folks over at Brew Hoop point out, Knight would have cleared Peter Dinklage by seven inches. To put his impressive box jump into further perspective, consider Kobe Bryant's fake vault over a speeding Aston Martin DB9 Volante would have only required a clearance of 50 inches.

While there is some debate over the current box jump world record — a man named Kevin Bania (no relation to Kenny) cleared 64 inches in 2012 — the next time Kobe tries to dunk over Knight or Kevin Durant chases him down, the results of this video should make them think twice.

Perhaps this is a sign of Knight's bad days being behind him. He already posted improved numbers during his first season in Milwaukee (17.9 ppg, 4.9 apg, 3.5 rpg, 52.3 TS%, 16.5 PER), albeit on a horrendous Bucks team. With a new coach in Jason Kidd — who the fourth-year guard is thrilled to have guiding him at the point — and a talented young supporting cast that now includes Jabari Parker, Giannis Antetokounmpo and a presumably healthy Larry Sanders, Knight could make the leap.
