Best of Midnight Madness: From dancing to dunks, Andrew Wiggins dazzles in Kansas debut

The latest sign that Andrew Wiggins mania has taken hold of Lawrence came Friday night when Kansas officials shut the doors of Allen Fieldhouse long before the start of the annual Late Night in the Phog event. Not only did Jayhawks fans pack their 16,300-seat arena for a glimpse of Wiggins in a scrimmage, Kansas coach Bill Self estimated nearly 9,000 more were turned away at the door because there weren't seats left. Wiggins didn't disappoint in his Kansas debut, throwing down a handful of dunks including the soaring one-handed slam in the video above. He also donned a freshly pressed black-and-white tuxedo and danced to Justin Timberlake hit song "Suit & Tie" along with a group of other Kansas players, even thrilling the crowd by busting out a freestyle solo near the end. Was Wiggins at ease in front of the big crowd? Not exactly. Sophomore Andrew White told the Kansas City Star, "He was just sweating bullets."
