Johnson's ankle bent awkwardly as he was bent backwards when he was stuffed on a fourth down play for the Hurricanes in the fourth quarter.

Duke is done. Resiliency about to be tested. — Tim Reynolds (@ByTimReynolds) November 3, 2013
After the play he limped off the field and didn't return and was spotted after the game with a cast on his leg.
Johnson is Miami's workhorse running back, and his absence will greatly hinder an offense that struggled in its 41-14 loss to FSU. Against the Seminoles, Johnson had 23 carries for 97 yards. He helped key a Miami comeback last week against Wake Forest, running 30 times for 163 yards and two touchdowns, including the winning score with less than two minutes left.
Johnson finishes the season with 823 yards rushing and six touchdowns and backup Dallas Crawford will become the Hurricanes' starter.
