Did you cut your hair?

Kids will be kids, the saying goes, but what about overzealous school principals?

Twelve-year-old Sheldon Williams went to school one day with a sharp new haircut and went home with permanent marker all over his head. Apparently, Sheldon's haircut had a nifty design shaved into it, which is against school rules.

Rather than send Sheldon and his offending hairs (or lack of them) home, Assistant Principal Michael Morse decided to fill in the "bald spots" with a marker. A permanent marker.

Poor Sheldon: It was probably the first time his parents were angry at him for bringing home "high marks." The Williams family eventually got an apology and Mr. Morse was reprimanded.
