Japanese Commercial Features Instant Fried Shrimp Machine

Wireless phone commercials hardly ever leave us wanting fried shrimp — that is, until we saw this ad from the Japanese carrier Docomo. The YouTube video features an awesome instant fried shrimp machine!

That's right — the shrimp-gun contraption shoots shrimp through the entire cooking process in just under three seconds. The "shrimp cannon" is used to demonstrate the high-speed capabilities of Docomo's new LTE network. Oh OK, there's the connection! You don't need to speak Japanese to be amazed by the commercial.  
 
Watch as the shrimp fly through a gauntlet of flour, egg, breading, and flames to produce tasty looking shrimp tempura:

 
The video has gone viral, raking in more than 5 million views from curious foodies. Oddly enough, this isn't the first water creature that we have seen flying through the air this year. Remember the salmon cannon?
