Walmart’s website is selling an art print titled, ‘Destroy Capitalism’

There was an interesting link posted on Redditthis morning by user “metal_falsetto.” Apparently, Walmart’s online store is selling canvas prints by famous guerilla street artist, “ Banksy,” the artist known for graffiti-type art that has decorated cities around the world.

That might not be too strange, because Walmart.com, via companies like Wayfair and PlumStruck, offers a lot of different canvas art prints by many different artists, but it is funny that they would offer this:

Yes, that’s right, you can buy “Destroy Capitalism” on perhaps one of the world’s biggest celebrators of that economic system. This, of course, lives up tothe irony that the original piece displayed. However, “snytekz” pointed out that Walmart states they “do not sponsor, recommend or endorse any third party product or service, or any customer ideas or advice."

Either way, this is far too meta. We’re going to take a walk around the block.
